Daniel White

I studied at the University of Birmingham (BA & MA) and University College London (PhD). My doctoral thesis systematically evaluated the origins of the Þórðar saga kakala, a component text of the fourteenth-century compilation Sturlunga saga.

Following my doctorate, I affiliated with the Ronin Institute as a Research Scholar to continue my research on a fractional basis (alongside full-time, non-academic work). My research largely focuses on thirteenth- and fourteenth-century Icelandic literature and history, with particular attention paid to Sturlunga saga.
