My research interests lie in the field of computational optical imaging; a multidisciplinary research area at the intersection of physics (optics), materials science, (applied) mathematics, electrical engineering and computer science.

Computational imaging aims to recover the information of interest about a physical object from optical measurements through advanced data processing algorithms.

My research focuses on developing new computational methods for the reconstruction of the three-dimensional refractive index distribution and 3D shape of microscopic objects from noisy measurements of scattered fields produced when the object is illuminated by an incident light wave.
