Political is Personal (PiP) was founded in April 2015 and is an initiative of in-depth interviews conducted with Israeli Jewish and Palestinian women, who share how their lives have been affected by the conflict. Stories of each interviewee are published on PiP’s website.
PiP sees as its mission to provide:
– Valuable data for study for academics, policy and decision makers
– Human validation, empathy and affirmation for women living out the conflict on the ground
– An avenue for others around the world to view this conflict through a new, more complete lens.
Sarah Arnd Linder, founder of PiP is partnering with two other Israeli scholars to write a research paper focusing on the experiences and everyday lives of Israeli Jewish and Palestinian women based on a sample of the interviews conducted with PiP to this date.
