Dr. Cansu Oranç is a developmental psychologist who specializes in studying the interaction between children and technology. She obtained her Ph.D. in Psychology from Koç University in Turkey, and conducted research as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Germany.

Dr. Oranç's research explores the effectiveness of technology, such as augmented reality, social robots, and voice assistants, in facilitating children's learning. She is particularly interested in how children seek information from artificial agents and whether they consider them reliable sources of information. Although she has worked with older children and adults, her primary focus is on preschoolers.

Driven by her passion for using technology to benefit society, Dr. Oranç aims to advance our understanding of how technology can be leveraged to promote cognitive development in children.
